Want to Rank In Bing? Get a WordPress.com blog

Bing Likes WordPress.com blogs

I’ve been preaching this mantra: you want your company website to perform in search engines? Get an external blog to support your main company website.

If you want to rank in Microsoft’s Bing, do yourself a favor and get a WordPress.com blog like this one:

Search Bing (or MSN) for this keyword phrase:

maryland internet advertising

MSN returns 18,000,000 websites that all purport to be on this subject.

Look who is number one:

You want your site to rank in Bing, get wordpress.com

You want your site to rank in Bing, get wordpress.com

Want results like that for YOUR company website?

my default search engine is Yahoo but now i am using BING because it is much better than Yahoo. i heard that Bing search engine would power Yahoo search also.

i think that Bing is not as good as Google. Google would still index new websites faster than Bing. Microsoft would still need a lot of catching to do with GoogleBot.

I use both Bing and Google search engine and i dont see much difference in their search results. I use google for searching hard to find academic topics and Bing for general search.

I agree that regardless of what search engine you want to be in wordpress is the leader with regards to creating blogs. They offer a ton of SEO friendly plugins and add-ons that can really help you get in the indexes. Bing has always been an anomaly to me though. I always noticed I have a lot more pages listed in Google than bing or yahoo. I guess maybe thats why Google is #1 lol.

Yes Microsoft is gobbling up Yahoo, that’s my take on it anyway.

I’ve found that the 2 lessor search engines (and you could possibly include aol search in this mix) utility to me is as follows:

If you rank in Bing and you rank in Yahoo… Google will *see* that those 2 search engines think you’re site is important.
I use the lessor search engines to boost my ranking in Google!

Here’s how you pull this off… I charge for this tidbit so you’re getting this for free (gotta provide value to my loyal subscribers…)

On your main website, (if said website is a Word Press blog add this to a widget) paste the actual yahoo search results where your company ranks in yahoo for a specific keyword phrase, now use the keyword phrase to link to the yahoo serps

for example:

write this text copy: organic search ranking
then link it to this url: http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=AgM3cL7YGXqUjhT8Z2fh_AWbvZx4?p=organic+search+ranking&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8&fr=yfp-t-701

like this:

Organic search ranking

Local Organic Search Ranking
Local Organic Search Ranking

this way you get the spiders to “follow their tails”
